The Chancellor of Jyau is the head of government and chief executive the country of Jyau, as well as the commander in chief of the Jyau Armed Forces during wartime. The current Chancellor is Arend Schoten, who replaced Matthias Cerfbeer in 2022. Cerfbeer was elected in 2016 and reelected to a second term in 2020, but resigned amid an economic crisis in 2022.
