The Colonial Vote of Calagains was a Akannite Colonial Vote held on XXXX on the planet of Calagains. The Colonial Vote of Calagains concerned a vote on the division of Calagainian Territory between the Three Systems of Akannus, specifically the P'olit'niri, the Vardoni Society, and the Second Order of Calagains. The ticket of the Vardoni Society won the most amount of territory, including the resource-rich divisions of Midgash, Lorhash, and Krisoff. The ticket of the P'olit'niri was awarded the territories of South Sukhami, New Gali, and Myssera. The ticket of the Second Order of K'vari was given the least amount of territory, including Oziriani, Arshusha, and North Sukhami.
Before the Colonial Vote of Calagains, both the Vardoni Society and the Second Order of K'vari changed their leadership, causing different outcomes normally not expected in a normative Akannite Colonial Vote. Originally the Vardoni Society was under the leadership of First Scholar Simon Shevardnadze, and the Second Order of K'vari was under the leadership of K'vari Sabaphos Mepe Ardanase the Devoted. However this changed with the Vardoni Society First Scholar moving from Simon Shevardnadze to Solomon Diasamidze after the Removal of Simon Shevardnadze. This also changed with the death of Ardanase the Devoted and led to the ascension of Levan Meshki and the Levanite Sabaphos.
The Colonial Vote of Calagains began after the resolvement of the issue of Calagainian Refugees by the Calagainian Federal Government. The delegate from the P'olit'niri, Senator Eristav Khidirbegish was seen as forefront for the P'olit'niri delegates and was chosen as the Speaker of the P'olit'niri in Calagains on certain issues. The Vardoni Society's delegate was considered polarizing in certain issues such as Calagainian Refugees and Farmland rights in accordance with Vardoni Prohibitions.
