Removal of Simon Shevardnadze
The Removal of Simon Shevardnadze from the position of the First Scholar of the Vardoni Society occurred in XXXX, after the Committee of Vardoni Commandments approved the ability for the High House of Vardoni Scholars to remove Simon from his position on the charges of embezzlement, corruption and breaking the commandments.
Simon Shevardnadze's removal started after the Committee of Vardoni Commandments was called upon by the High House of Vardoni Scholars, after suspicion had fell that Simon had solicited financial assistance from several Akaniti comapnies. This came around the time soon when the Colonial Vote of Calagains was to be initiated after statements directed towards the Calagainians were seen as elitist and corporatist in nature, especially on prohibitions of free mining and free-farming. This was considered in violation of the First Set of Vardoni Commandments, which set the grounds for an inquiry of Simon's leadership.
The resulting investigation allowed the High House of Vardoni Scholars to initiate a vote within the House to remove Simon Shevardnadze from his position. The High House voted in favor to remove Simon from his position and to replace him with the Chancellor of the Vardoni Society.
