Coplesti is the capital and second-largest city in Artaska. It is located in the northeastern corner of the country, enclosed by mountains and hills with Aajti rising to the east and a slight valley to the northwest overlooking the Samson Ocean in the distance. Due to its location at the Plain of Coplesti and the relative proximity to the ocean, the city is particularly influenced by a Samson seasonal climate. It is among the wettest and sunniest cities in Nortua, with 2,544 hours of sun per year. Coplesti is 50 kilometers from the border with Cylata.

Coplesti is often regarded alongside Selika as the most important economic, financial, political and trade center in Artaska due to its significant location in the center of the country and its modern air, maritime, rail and road transportation. It is the seat of power of the Government of Artaska, with the official residences of the President of Artaska, and the Parliament of Artaska.
