The 1922 Elitetoppen was the first season of Greater Normark's upper tier of football competition and the first all national series in football. It replaced several regional series and the Normarkian Crown's Cup. It began on 28 May 1922 and was concluded on 17 September 2024. Eight teams competed with Grønvik AIK, from Oskarsviik, winning the first title. Oskarsviik FK and IK Sleipner got both relegated. No teams from Daal were present since they protested the creation of the league. AIF Lekedala would join the league in 1926, becoming the first Daal team to do so.
