Elyrian alphabet
The Elyrian or Elyric alphabet is the writing system originally used by the ancient Elyrians to write the Old Elyrian language. It has been in use since the mid to late 6th century BC. It is derived from earlier Median and Pelagian alphabets. Due to the historic preeminence of the Elyrian civilization and later the hegemonic presence of the descendant Elyric Nations, the alphabet gained widespread use for writing outside of the Elyric language family, first in Aurora and then in other parts of the world.
Several Elyrian-script alphabets exist, which differ in graphemes, collation, and phonetic values from the Classical Elyrian alphabet.
Classical Elyrian alphabet
The Classical Elyrian alphabet was the first version of the alphabet to be standardized across multiple polities of the western shore and insular area of modern day Achysia. Its 26 letters represented the entire phonetic inventory of Old and Classical Elyrian.
