Emanuel the first or the crown claimer is the first of the Stjärnkhrone house that claimed the Silfer kronan that they previous had been the guardians and caretakers of. This was something that raised some outrage as the Stjärnkhrone house, or as they were known at the time as "The sons of Fylrik" or "Those crowned with the star helmet" both referring to their decent from the great hero Fylrik Airnflik and the original crown of the riverlands that were forged from the iron and evening emerald claimed from a falling star.

Birth

The birth of Emanuel was very hard and despite the Stjärnkhrone family being very fertile and having an extremely impressive of producing male heirs so were his father Gotfrid skeppstyrare Ulrikssen a very infertile man that had been very unluckily and three previous wives had all died in childbirth and his current wife had given birth to four stillborn sons over the course of six years prior before Emanuel was born. Similarly to all his brothers that had come before him so were Emanuel kept out of the public view for almost two years before he was finally presented to the noble vassals of Gotfrid that all swore fealty to the young child as their future ruler. However it was also revealed that the young child had a great future ahead of him as he had been born with an especially impressive birthmark on his right side of his face. It seemed as if the kid had truly been blessed by the gods as the birthmark looked like a burning rose burnt into his face. Great omen as far as most people were concerned.

Gotfrid even went so far as to reveal an ancient prophecy that had been found on runestones by his great grandfather in Storfloden itself about a child born with a rose of fire on him that would with sword and fire reclaim the high kingship that Imer the great had won and unite all of the south. THis great hero was to be born with the blessings of the gods to a father who's seed was barren and would not grow.

Life and rulership

According to tradition did Emanuel take the kingship of the riverland at year 0 in the year of our kingdom and started a brutal expansion against their neighbours and several tribes and kingdom even swore fealty as tributaries or vassals directly due to not wanting to fight prophecy and most people started to believe that the prophecies about Emanuel was true while other called for him to be declared Útblót for his claim and started to fiercely resist his expansions in Imeriata proper. However in the end despite several attempts to fight back did all of the south except a peninsula in the south that became know as Suderland became part of his realms.

For a wife did he take a woman known as Sigrid Gudadottir that were said to be born from the god Arv during fertility rites and then raised by the clergy, this was done to further enhance the prestige of his house and firmly establish the dynasty as blessed by the divine gods themselves when Emanuel finally crowned himself as high king of Imeriata with the silver crown that his family had guarded for ages and to the cheers of the kings and nobles of Imeriata was he finally praised as a high king as the south had finally been mostly unified.

Death

It is not known exactly what killed Emanuel but most people seems to suspect some sort of infection but the chroniclers of the time seems to be conflicted about what exactly caused it. Some even go so far as to say that it was his birthmark that killed him, the divine flame that filled him burned quickly and brightly but not for long, he was inherited by his eldest sun Primus the first.
