Fearnafearann (Fearic:Fearnafearagh) officially the Kingdom of Fearnafearann (Fearic: Rìoghachd Fearnafearagh) is a Sovereign state located on the continent of Asura on the planet of Aeia. Fearnafearann is bordered by the Opal Ocean to the North and West, Cuirpthe to the east, TBD to the South. Along with this it shares a sea border with Crethia.
Fearnafearann is a unitary parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy. The current monarch is King Aonghus III, who has reigned since 2017. Fearnafearanns capital city is Rosgar, a population centre and a national financial hub, the Nation's largest city is the coastal city of Kirkblane. Other major cities include Llanges, Lochenkirk, Cefnddu, Glasmaroch and Llyscoed. Fearnafearann has one of highest HDI coefficients in Asura, and is a forefront in the progression of many programs that encourage global cooperation, being a member of both the Commonwealth of Democratic Nations.
Modern Fearnafearann has existed since the MacTiridh era since 1637 after Bhatair MacTiridh united the various Fearic Kingdoms under his rule. The Kingdom has seen many times of upheaval most notably following the attempted Farmers Coup which resulted in the establishment of Parliament and the Great War in which hundreds of thousands of Fearic soldiers were killed in the Cuirpithean Front.
It is believed the first post-glacial groups of hunter-gatherers arrived in Fearnafearann around 12,800 years ago, as the ice sheet retreated after the last glaciation. The groups of settlers began building the first known permanent houses on Fearic soil around 9,500 years ago, and the first villages around 6,000 years ago. The well-preserved village of Dunaidh Brae in IllDheòra dates from this period.
