Franz Pixodarus Hermann Alois Maria Myrthenbaum Landgraf zu Schärtal-Tangersten (19 September 1901 – 13 July 2010) was an Imperial East Europan military officer and a member of the Deseleni Myrthenbaum zu Schärtal-Tangersten family. He is also the brother of Thessalonice VI zu Schärtal-Tangersten, who served with him in the Seleucia Korps. He is also the ancestors of Neocon War veterans Kasimira zu Schärtal-Tangersten and Ronja zu Schärtal-Tangersten. To his comarades and his sister, Pixodarus is known by his nickname which can be spelled in two ways: "Pixy" or "Pixie."

Pixodarus was born on 1901 in Ebreichtrenk, virtually one year apart from his sister, Thessalonice. He developed a firm bond with her, and often cared for her when his mother couldn't. He attended the Steinhäusser Imperial War College alongside his sister, and graduated as a lieutenant in 1925. His first service was in the Imperial East Europan Estharian Corps alongside his sister during the Estharian Civil War. In 1935, during the Second Europan War, Pixodarus was transferred to the Seleucia Korps and participated in significant battles such as the Imperial Invasion of the Middle East, the First Battle of Seleucia, and the Lunar New Year Desert Offensive. After the Battle of Jerusalemia, he observed his sister being abducted by the Imperial East Europan Middle East Archaeological Research Team, an SS formation led by Alfred Toht Kiesling, and attempted to get her back, but was subdued. During the Battle of Amestria, Pixodarus participated in a Commonwealth Commando raid against Camp Lichtenfels which saw him rescue Thessalonice from further SS experimentation. Pixodarus, along with her sister, under the advice from Brigadier Tsukuyo Kushineda went into exile in Insomnia until the end of the War of Lorican Aggression. Pixodarus lived the rest of his life as a symphonic composer until his death in 2010. Alongside Thessalonice, he played a part in concealing the awakened abilities of Kasimira and Ronja. His and his sisters' accounts were noted in Florian Güldenstädt and Alexander Sundermann's international bestselling memoir about his experiences with the Seleucia Korps, titled The Long Retreat: From Mesopotamia to Quenmin.

Pixodarus is known to be rebellious, especially against the Maximilianist government, and has shown anathema against the SS. He is also a cautious individual, which led him to hesitate at times, but he shows dauntlessness in the field, and his caring about his comrades.
