George Edward George Edwardius Caelum (15 April 1962) is the current King of the Guinea Islands since his ascension to the throne during the 1982 Guinea Islands Christmas Restoration. Born in Erebonia during his father's state visit in Heimdallr, it was unexpected that Grand Duchess-consort, Marika would give birth to George in a foreign land, making him the first Bethausian royal to be born outside Bethausia.

In 1972, two years after the independence from the United Kingdom, the Guinean Monarch, Nuvalata's health deteriorated and was childless. His government elected the young Bethausian Prince as his successor but the ongoing Communist Rebellion overthrew the monarchy before he could be named as heir apparent.

In December 1982, the Communist Government was overthrown in a bloodless revolution. Debates on who to take over the crown began with different sides opting to take King Nuvalata's heir apparent or to crown a native Guinean monarch. George Edward had been supportive of the Royalist cause during the Communist rule in Guinea and was popular among the Guineans. In 28 December 1982, George Edward became the new Guinean Monarch and as a consequence, gave up all claims to the Bethausian throne.

Throughout his reign, George Edward's popularity soared. However, several demonstrations against his family and the government were seen throughout the years, particularly the Communist Party, who wanted to restore the rule of the Communist Government. In 1985, the Communist Party of the Guinea Islands under Chairman Jeonjola Simeon declared him Persona Non Grata and incited a rebellion throughout Guinea. Despite this, support for George remained high, and so does his public image.

He is the uncle of the current Grand Duke of Bethausia, William Edwardius III and the uncle of King Noctis Lucis Caelum of the United Kingdom through his 2nd great-granduncle, Prince George, Duke of Caernarvon.
