Highlands, officially the United Kingdom of Highlands (French:Royaume-Uni des Hautes Terres), is a country located on the European continent on Eurth.
The Empire of Kinglands were founded in the late 15th to 16th centuries, by european powers and was abolished later to become a Kingdom.
Through to the 20th century, Kinglands became more powerful, the 1895 election led to the end of the absolute monarchy and became officially a constitutional monarchy in 1897, leading to much respect for the monarchy among the population. In 1967, Figaro Delabelle was elected State Minister and quickly became one of the most hated State Ministers of the country. This led to a civil war after McMadden's resignation.
Highlands is a Unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy, its head of state is the hereditary monarch, currently Alexander II. The parliament of Highlands is elected by the people to the House of Senate and the House of Commons. The current governing party is the National Union of Highlands. Highlands's capital is the city of Pamplona. Highlands is an active member of ATARA and the Assembled Nations, also maintaining membership in the Commonwealth of the Empire. Highlands maintains good relations with most of the worlds nations, especially democracies and those with similar foreign policy objectives.
