This is a Xiaodongese name; the family name is Jin (金).

Jin Baoshun (Xiaodongese: 金宝顺; Jīn Bǎoshùn born 14th February 1947) is a Xiaodongese politician who has served as President of the Examination Council since August 2014. He has been a member of the State Presidium since 2014. In his capacity as President of the Examination Council Jin is the head of the Xiaodongese civil service and its senior bureaucratic figure.

Jin first entered politics in the 1970's when he served as a provincial official in the Anqian province dealing with internal security. He subsequently entered the federal bureaucracy first in internal security portfolios before in the 1990's being transferred to work under the Examination Council, the body in Xiaodong which handles the civil service entrance examination and informally is in charge of the personnel of the Xiaodongese government as a whole with oversight over the appointment of all judges, civil servants and politicians to public positions. In 2008 Jin was appointed as Chief Secretary to the Premier's Office and in 2012 he was appointed as President of the Examination Council by Jiang Zhongyu entitling him a seat on the State Presidium, the highest executive, judicial and legislative body in Xiaodong.

During the 2016-17 Xiaodongese Protests Jin reportedly supported a firm line against the protesters siding with State Chairman Yuan Xiannian, Judicial Council President Yi Shaoqing and International Relations Minister Xu Bangguo. Under Jin's tenure the Examination Council has played an instrumental role in Normalisation being responsible for the suspension or removal of over 1 million people from their jobs. Jin has praised normalisation as the "largest and most effective anti-corruption campaign in human history".

Jin is considered by observers to be one of the more conservative and hardline members of the State Presidium. He is also considered to be a loyal ally for State Chairman Yuan.
