Kôrol Frãcëszk Kòziol (Leco-Osonian: Còrol Frëtsexc Cüèsiol) was the third President of Lecistan from 2 May 1975 to 2 May 1985, as well as leader of the Moderate Front. Born in Brzny in 1922, Kòziol helped form and lead the Moderate Front in 1965 as a opposition party to the favored National Party. He won eighteen percent in the 1965 general election, and was able to gain forty-six percent in the 1975 general election, making him President under a minority government. His presidency is often viewed as favorable, due to Kòziol's demeanor and compromising on key legislation. He was the first President to fill out a ten-year term, and retired from politics in 1985. He passed away on 4 December 1989 at the age of 67 after a break-in at his home went astray, with Kòziol being shot in the heart.
