The Kingdom of Anahuac (Canterian: Reino de Anáhuac; Common: Kingdom of Anahuac) was a constitutional monarchy established in Anáhuac by Anahuacian monarchists in conjunction with the Riamese Empire. The period is sometimes referred to as the Riamese intervention in Anáhuac. It has been viewed as both an independent Anahuacian monarchy and as a client state of Riamo. Ascending to the throne, was the leader of the monarchist group National Action (Canterian: Acción Nacional) Rogelio Barrera, who had ancestral links of the former tlatoanis of the Xalieca Empire. He ascended to the throne taking the namesake of Cristobal. Cristobal's wife and empress consort of Anahuac assumed the name of Carlota, while his son assumed the name Tulio.
