LZS has a long and successful history in different motorsport categories. Its works team as well as several privateer teams race with LZS cars in touring car racing. LZS is also currently active in Astyrian Formula One and in sportscar endurance racing.

The LZS C2R holds the distinction of being LZS's most successful race car, winning more races than any other LZS production-based race car in history.
