Lady Corinne Roquefeuil (Corinne Amélie Jacqueline Yvonne; b. 15 August 1995) is a Vannoisian noblewoman and the second-eldest, and only daughter, of Richard, Duke of Moïeux. Under the laws of succession to the Duchy of Moïeux, Corinne is currently third-in-line to inherit her father's title after her elder and younger brothers, respectively.
Corinne was born at the University Hospital of Moïeux in Préaux, near the ancestral home of the Duke of Moïeux, located in the city of Préaux. She was educated at the private Lycée Sainte-Geneviève in Sainte-Colette, which was also attended by then-Prince Audric of Sainte-Colette among other royal and noble children. She went on to receive a degree in Audonian History from the Xavier II University of Issoudun, graduating with honors in 2018.
Early Life
Lady Corinne Roquefeuil was born on 15 August 1995 at the University Hospital of Moïeux in Préaux, and was christened in September 1995 at the Préaux Cathedral; her godparents were her maternal aunt, Lady Juliette Broglie; her maternal great-uncle, Jean, Count of Fontette; her paternal aunt, Lady Nicolette Roquefeuil; and her paternal uncle, Jean-Jacques, Count of Riel-les-Eaux. She is the middle child of Richard, Duke of Moïeux and his wife Odette Broglie. Her elder brother is Antoine, Count of Épineuil (b. 1992), and her younger brother is Lord Xavier Roquefeuil (b. 1998).
Though born near the ancestral Moïeux home, Corinne was raised in the Vannoisian capital, Sainte-Colette, mostly by her maternal grandparents. As a child, she was often seen in the company of her grandfather Joseph, Duke of Sarzay, when he attended parliamentary committee meetings as a member of the Vannoisian Senate.
Education
Corinne, after moving permanently to Sainte-Colette in 1999, attended the private École normale catholique (ENC) primary school and later the Lycée Sainte-Geneviève, where she shared classes at both institutions with Prince Audric of Sainte-Colette and his sister, Princess Catherine. During her time at Sainte-Geneviève, Corinne was seen by many in the media as a potential future spouse for Prince Audric. The Vannoisian Imperial Household confirmed their courtship in late 2012, but their relationship reportedly ended around early 2015 and had been confirmed as "ended by mutual consent" in the months before the announcement of Audric's courtship with Princess Selene of Latium.
Corinne took a gap year directly after graduating from the Lycée Sainte-Geneviève, traveling across much of Scipia and Ochran with several friends and members of her family. She was accepted to the well-regarded Faculty of History at the Xavier II University of Issoudun while abroad, and graduated with honors in 2018. Having received an offer to continue her studies at Issoudun, Corinne instead returned to Sainte-Colette, where she currently attends the Imperial College Faculty of Law. She is expected to graduate in 2023.
