Monsa has a long tradition of written press and counts with a significant amount of daily national newspapers and magazines in relation to its population; although most of them are published in Monsan, most newspapers include Alcantaran and Cassonnais sections as a way of introducing and acquiring circulation in both Cassonne and Alcantara. According to the "Asociación de la Prensa de Monsa" (Press Association of Monsa; APM), in 2020 there were registered 11 newspapers counting those restricted to local news.
