The Miao Coven (Chinese: 苗会, pinyin: Miáohuì, Miao Society/Miao Association/Miao Party), is a predominantly vampire Noble Family in Amenria and one of the subsidiaries of the Angelheart Family. While it was publicly known to be founded with Michelle as its head to reward her for her success, another, lesser known reason for its founding was to reach more vampires than the main family could and provide an alternative for them besides the Novoluniye Coven or even more dubious organizations. Its current operations revolve around foreign affairs and diplomacy, including foreign intelligence, making it one of the empire's intelligence agencies along with the Kirigakure Network. Their daily tasks and duties are the reason why the head of the coven is always the Minister of Foreign Affairs since its founding.
Overview
The Miao Coven is more often than not the arm of the Angelheart that practices its black ideas of taking questionable actions for benevolent goals, albeit not to the same extent as the Kirigakure. They thrive in places most would fear, and use the shadows and dark corners of the world to their advantage, striking when least expected. The Miao are also known for using advanced gadgets in battle that are disguised to look like everyday objects, such as watches and pens.

Clothing and accessories
Miao agents of both genders typically wear black suits and sunglasses to cover their skin and eyes, as being mostly consisted of vampires, they are more sensitive to sunlight than other species. Most of them keep their hair black, although rare sights of agents with dyed hair do exist.

The Miao are more fond of firearms than their parent family, with more members seen carrying handguns.
