Mikhail Robertovich Franko is a Slavic politician, trade unionist, and labor leader who is the incumbent Prime Minister of the Slavic Union. In 2006 he organized a strike of workers at SlavOil, the largest oil company in the Slavic Union despite the then illegality of unions in the nation, his strike lead to increased wages and improved labor conditions for workers, in addition to unions being legalized in 2007, where afterwards he was elected the first president of the National Slavic Labor Federation (NSLF), the largest federation of unions in the Slavic Union.

In 2021 after the beginning of the August Revolution he became the de facto leader of the workers councils in the countries north, when stability was brought back to the country he was invited to the constitutional convention, he then ran for president in 2021, losing by a slim margin but ultimately being appointed Prime Minister by President Ulyana Agapova.

Early Life

Born on June 21, 1973 and raised in Adrikagorod Franko's father Robert Franko was a worker at SlavOil and a dedicated communist. Franko attended Adrikagorod University and was suspended in 1993 for being arrested at a protest against the Slavic government. Instead of returning to the university he got a job at SlavOil.

Career

In 2006 Franko began organizing a strike by SlavOil workers after a coworker was killed because of an accident on an oil well, the strike started out with just a few hundred workers but quickly snowballed into the thousands, in late 2006 SlavOil was forced to go to the negotiating table and workers received a pay raise and improved working conditions.

In 2007 unions were legalized and the National Slavic Labor Federation was founded, with Franko soon being elected it's first president.
