Nanuk Island (Soravian: Нанук Остров; Nanuk Ostrov, Titiqituq: ᓇᓄᖅᕿᑭᖅᑕᖅ; Nanuqqikiqtaq) is the northernmost island of Soravia's Avanar Sea territories and is the world's northernmost permanently inhabited place, with a permanent population of 1,102. It is located within the Avanar Sea and the Avanar Circle as is one of the Avanar Council's designated nature reserves.

Nanuk Island was first discovered in 1886 by an unknown Soravian explorer, but the island was considered terra nullius until Soravia officially claimed it in 1909 and started a permanent settlement there for scientific purposes, naming it Olsov Station after the recently-deceased president. The island was officially annexed a few days later and made a dependency of Soravia in the August of 1910. It functioned as a place of discussion between high-ranking individuals throughout the Great War due to its isolation. Following the end of the war, it was designated as a science reservation by Vladislav Pudovkin in 1938 and made an Avanar Council nature reserve in 2001. The island is also the homeland of the Titiqituq peoples, an extremely endangered people and language whose preservation is overseen by the Avanar Council. Their language is amongst the rarest in Kylaris.
