Naomi IV (Dutch: ᚾᚩᚨᛗᛁ:ᚹᛁᚳᛏᚨᚱᛁᚩ:ᚳᚩᚦᚩᚱᛁᚾᚩ:ᚩᚾᚩᛥᚩᛋᛁᚩ Naomi Victoria Catharina Anastasia, French: Noémie Victoire Catharine Anastasie, German: ᚾᛟᛖᛗᛁ:ᚹᛁᚲᛏᛟᚱᛁᚨ:ᚲᚨᚦᚨᚱᛁᚾᚨ:ᚨᚾᚨᛋᛏᚨᛋᛁᚨ Noemi Viktoria Katharina Anastasia; born 23 January 1993) is, and has been since her accession on 2215, Empress of the Great Elven Empire, Queen of Rivell and the Grand Duchess of Miserth
Naomi was born in Wolfina to Prince Frederik-Alexander, Duke of Orsinia and the Arcadian Crown Princess Sierra, Duchess of Orsinia, later Emperor Frederik-Alexander of Atmora and the Arcadian Empress Sierra II, and was the eldest of their three daughters, one of them being her fraternal twin Queen Juliette-Alexandra of Makri. She and her sister were educated at the Wolfina Academy. Her mother acceded to throne after the death of her mother Klaudia IV and was crowned as the Arcadian Empress, along with Daral being made the Archduke of Wolfina after the succession of his sister Alexandra III. Upon the abdication of Frederik-Alexander's sister as the Empress of Atmora, he was immediately crowned as the Emperor of Atmora with Naomi being the heiress apparent to both the thrones of Atmora and Arcadia. In 2427 she married Vincent Edelman, with whom she only has three children with: Anastasia, Princess of Miserth Catharina-Alexandra and Erik.
During the Tanabikan War, Naomi served in the Imperial Space Command as a Grand Admiral and later on as the Lord High Admiral of Atmora until her succession to both thrones of Atmora and Arcadia, forming the Second Arco-Atmoran Empire. However during the course of the war her eldest daughter the Princess of Miserth was caught up in the cross fire and was confirmed dead by Imperial officials.
In 2224 she dissolved the Grand Parliament after Chancellor Jurren van Adenau refused her request to push the Rearmament Act, in his attempt to adhere to the treaty preventing Atmoran-Arcadian rearmament. She appointed Elizabeth des Ornières an Arcadian noblewoman, as the Chancellor of Atmora-Arcadia to lead Naomi's puppet government and to pass legislation to increase the military budget and amend the post-war constitution written by the Azakayanese.
Birth and Early Life
Naomi was born 23 January 1993 at 0l:05 in the capital city Wolfina along with her fraternal twin Juliette-Alexandra, during the reign of her paternal grandmother Anastasia of Atmora. Her father, the Duke of Orsinia (later Emperor Frederik-Alexander) and her mother, Crown Princess Sierra of Arcadia (later Empress Sierra II) daughter to Empress Émilie II of Arcadia. After the Zwarte Harten assassinated her two grandmothers effectively making her mother the Empress of Arcadia and her father the Archduke of Wolfina, 2 months after her aunt Alexandra III was coronated as Empress of Atmora she abdicated in favour of her younger brother Frederik-Alexandra. Naomi was then given the titles befitting the heiress to both empires respectively.
After graduating from the Wolfina Academy, Naomi had applied to the Imperial Space Academy to become an officer in the Imperial Elven Space Force.
Military Career
Tanabikan War
Preluding to Tanabikan War between the Commonwealth of Systems and the Azakayanese, Naomi was made the Fleetmistress to the 3rd Expeditionary Fleet. During the Attack on Stephanides the first ever battle of the war the fleets of the 3rd Expeditionary Fleet the 3rd, 21st and 37th were tasked by Grand Admiral Zÿmern to glass the planet and to kill any Azakayaneses attempting to flee or resist. The Azakayanese fought valiantly until the end against 3rd Expeditionary Fleet. Naomi would later on commend the Azakayanese valiant defence of Stephanides.
Naomi would later on with her 3rd Expeditionary Fleet push deeper into Azakayanese territory, sequentially she was made a Warmistress. After the death of Grand Admiral Varenhorst by an Azakayanese fleet, her father made her Admiral of the Realm, Supreme Commander of Commonwealth Joint Forces in addition giving her the title of Grand Warmistress of the Heavenly Flame. She for awhile led a successful campaign into Azakayana until unexpectedly the Azakayanese forces managed to make a successful push against the Commonwealth Joint Forces.
Following the sinking of the ZMS Verathingen and the death of Admiral of the Realm Prince Ludolf van Varenhorst by the Azakayanese Rear Admiral Coveted-by-Leviathans in 27 May 2128, Grand Admiral Wolfina responded to the Verathingen's distress beacon, upon arriving in the Osawayew System, Grand Admiral Wolfina ordered immediately a Search and Rescue mission to recover survivors from the ZMS Verathingen, one of the notable survivors was Sub Lieutenant Erika Talens, as Lieutenant Talens was senior surviving officer of Verathingen's Korps Commandotroepen, Wolfina gave Talens a battlefield promotion to Lieutenant Commander and Commandant of the 7e Ruimtecommandotroepen Battalion, upon reporting back to the High Command, Admiral Wolfina was tasked with the sinking of the Azakayanese battleship Wasteful Decadence and to destroy the Azakayanese 7th Strike Group, after 2 years of chasing the Wasteful Decadence and being promoted to as Supreme Commander of the CJF and Admiral of the Realm, a flotilla from 3rd Expeditionary Fleet managed to find Rear Admiral Coveted-by-Leviathan in the Sardopis System. Upon detecting the Wasteful Decadence Wolfina ordered her flottila of 1 battleship, 4 heavy cruisers, 2 light cruisers and 7 destroyers to engage the 7th Strike Group, Wolfina managed to disable the Wasteful Decadence's engines preventing it from escaping as the Wasteful Decadence was left still in the void of space Wolfina's flotilla began encircling the Azakayanese battleship launching MAC slugs and anti-matter torpedoes at the ship, when the ZMS Miserth managed to breach a hole in the vessel, Wolfina tasked Lt. Cdr. Talens with the boarding the vessel and to avenge her fallen comrades on the Verathingen. After Lt. Cdr. Talens successfully captured the officers of the Wasteful Decadence and the enemy fleetmaster Admiral Coveted-by-Leviathans, the 3rd Fleet made their back to Lythame were Coveted-by-Leviathans and her officer staff would be paraded through the streets of Wolfina, Grand Admiral Wolfina would later send now Commander Erika Talens with Coveted-by-Leviathans to the infamous KIVD Middernacht-faciliteit in Nil Angaar system, to have her interrogated.
Nearly 6 years after taking office as the Supreme Commander of the Commonwealth Forces, Naomi led a bloody military campaign into Azakayana pushing them deep into their interior. She affectionately gained the nickname of the Burning-eyed reaper for her usage of razing Azakayanese colonies in addition to burning captured Azakayanese officers alive. However the territory gained by Naomi's fleets began to slow down after the Azakayanese commander Admiral Coveted-by-Leviathans recovered from her injuries after being held captive and being tortured both physically and mentally at the KIVD Midnight Facility for 5 months.
Skirmishes began to break around the Avand Solar System in 25 April 2133, over the course of roughly a month more Commonwealth and Azakayanese vessels began to consolidate around the Avand System, Admiral Coveted-by-Leviathans arrived in Avand in 13 May 2133. The KIVD upon learning about the existence of Coveted and Purilla in Avand, they decided to bring their location to light and on 15 May Naomi had learned the location of her arch nemesis and the location of the treasonous Diistaak Princess. As the Battle of Avand was taking place, Naomi arrived on the 18 May with her Flames of Heaven Combined Fleet comprising of the Third, Seventh, Ninth, and Thirteenth fleets in her attempt to crush Admiral Coveted-by-Leviathans and Princess Purilla forces once and for all at Avand, which would've allowed Naomi to push further into the Azakayanese interior giving her shot at their capital. However over the course of the Battle Purilla and Coveted managed overpower Naomi's fleets with the usage of strategically placed plasma lances and the nanobots. As the Commonwealth forces were continuing to take heavy loses Naomi gave out an order for all Commonwealth forces to make random FTL jumps out of Avand back into friendly space in order to not lose anymore strategically important capital ships, to cover the routed Commonwealth forces. Naomi launched the ZMS Cristana loaded with a primed NOVA bomb a planet destroying antimatter weapon, that was originally intended for Piyakahcanis, in a suicide attack. After the detonate of the NOVA and sacrifice of the ZMS Cristana, Naomi managed to heavily cripple Coveted forces giving her time to regain strength. However after Avand Naomi and her forces were constantly on the back foot.
During the Battle of Janov, Naomi was tasked with holding the Azakayanese fleet at bay long enough for the colonists to evacuate deeper into Atmoran space. While successful in her original task she later found out that her daughter Anastasia was listed in the causalities. The death of her eldest left a lasting impact on Naomi....
