Nidwaldeser Bahn is a Nidwaldester state owned railway company. It is the principal passenger railway operator in Nidwalden providing national services to a large number of cities and towns and connecting Cologne and Saint Moritz with Noordenstaater and Scanonian destinations. The rail infrastructure is maintained by the government agency NB Netz since its creation in 1925. Nidwaldeser Bahn operates two high speed lines (Cologne-Saint Moritz-Glarus and Cologne-Bremen-Saint Moritz) which are also connected with neighbouring lines.

The company operates a varied fleet of trains that go from the high speed Nidwaldester Rail Class 374 to the medium distance RABDe 500.
