Odo, officially the Union of Odo is an Umunna located in southern Majula bordered by X to the south, the x sea to the east, the x sea to the west and x to the north. The nation's 12 administrative zones span a combined area of x million square kilometres with a total population of 304 million people.
The first early humans left East Majula for the Fawo river valley 80,000 years ago. Civilization first emerged in the region in the form of the Bara city-states which came about as far back as 1500 BCE, a few centuries after agriculture was first invented in the region. Following the start of the !Transaharan Trade in the 400s CE, the Bara became increasingly influenced by Arabekhi societies with large swathes of the indigenous elite eventually adopting Navdarism. The immense wealth gained from the lucrative trade route eventually resulted in the Twelve Great cities further consolidating their power and eventually unifying in 807 CE, forming the Wangara League. Originally a decentralized association of the twelve cities and their respective tributaries, the league undergone a period of rapid expansion and centralization during the 10th to 11th centuries. The Sosso and Agiri dynasties ushered two centuries of relative peace from the 11th and 16th centuries respectively, both known to historians as the first and second Majulan Radiance as it saw the rise of art, science and mathematics, and is generally cited as the start of a composite pan-Majulan identity. The Aghiri Empire's eventual collapse saw the expansion of the Camrian South Majulan Company in the 18th century, bringing the region under the rule of the Camrian crown by 18XX. During the Great Asuran War, a successful popular revolt led by the INSERT REVOLUTIONARY MOVEMENT established the country as an Umunna.
Due to its status as a newly-industrialized middle income country, its biodiversity, recognition as one of the growing major economies and having the largest economy and population on the continent, Odo is often referred to as the "Majulan Giant". Odo hosts the largest self-managed economy in the World and maintains a diverse multi-ethnic, pluralist society. Odo is generally considered to be an emerging global power and a major regional power in Majula. Odo is a member of the !AU, !UN and (OTHER ORGS).
