Pope Clement III (born October 1st, 1951, born Keenan Wilton Dean) is the head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of Montemera since 2023. Born in Osea, Timeria, Dean was an educator in North Kai before pursuing ministry. He was ordained as a priest in 1981 at His Children Catholic Church, and later became the archbishop of North Kai in 2006. Pope Marcellinus II elevated him to the rank of cardinal in 2013, and Dean quickly became a close spiritual confidant and advisor to Marcellinus. Following the death of Pope Marcellinus on 20 March 2023, a papal conclave elected Dean as his successor on 24 March. He chose Clement as his papal name in honor of two previous popes. He is the first pope from western Adula, and the first person of color to be elected pope.
