Prosperita is a province located in northcentral Adamantina. It is the 16th-largest by area and the 3rd-most populous province within the republic. Its capital is San Stefano and its largest city is Salination. Prosperita was admitted to the Republic of Adamantina as the 1st province on March 11 1808, and was among the original provinces of the United Provinces of Asterias Inferior. It is bordered by the East Arucian Sea to the north, Lucentezza to the northeast, Sarno to the east, Venosa to the south and the Federal District of Pellegrini to the southeast. The province has a population of approximately 3,094,292, roughly 9.23% of Adamantina's total population. The province covers an area of 20,479 km2 (7,907 sq mi), which is about 2.05% of Adamantina's total area.
Various indigenous peoples inhabited Prosperita for thousands of years, most of whom were expelled by settlers of Etruria between 1541 and 1723. Prosperita received its names from the prosperous bounty that many of the initial settlers enjoyed during harvest, it has historically been considered the center of the nation's breadbasket. Since then, the settlement patterns in Prosperita have reflected regional cultural segmentation present in northcentral Adamantina; the province's northernmost tier was settled primarily by people from Carvagna and Palestrina, central Prosperita by settlers from Moresco and Palestrina and southern Prosperita by people from Ossuccio and Aventina.
Prosperita has a diverse economy with a gross provincial product of $69.3 billion in 2020 and is a major exporter of wheat, salt, corn and soybeans. It is also a hub for shipping, shipbuilding, steelmaking and other manufacturing. It has several metropolitan areas with more than 100,000 citizens and a number of smaller cities and towns, most of which belong to Porto Pellegrini metropolitan statistical area. Prosperita's most important cities are Elpidiense (population 504,983), Santa Maria (population 199,301), Ascoli Pinceno (population 153,024), and Morrovalle (population 145,402). Prosperita is home to two professional sports teams, the Sano Stefano Pirati and the Salination Salatori
