Razem! (Together!) is a minor political party in West Miersa which advocates for recognition of minority cultures, particularly the Lemovician and Vedmedi communities.
Established in 1989 by Zimon Mosty and Toma Manwelyshwyli, Razem! has achieved modest success, particularly in the voivodeships of Malomiersa and Górne Pogórze, where they have representation on the voivodial level. However, Razem has failed to make inroads into the National Assembly, and has never run candidates in a presidential election.
History
Razem! was established in 1989 by Zimon Mosty and Toma Manwelyshwyli as a vehicle to promote minority rights, with Manwelyshwyli advocating that "the state be allowed to permit voivodeships to give minority language status to Vedmedi and Lemovician in the same way that certain voivodeships do for Soravian."
They first ran candidates in 1990 for the voivodial elections of Górne Pogórze, where they entered the voivodial assembly. They would remain present to this day, with all representatives from TBD powiat having been from Razem! since then. In 1991, it ran for its first elections to the National Assembly, but have failed to get elected.
In 1996, although it failed to get into the National Assembly, Zimon Mosty was elected to the Malomiersan legislature. Mosty would serve in the Malomiersan legislature until losing the seat in 2006, which meant that Razem was unable to make it into the Malomiersan assembly in 2006. It would only return to the Malomiersan assembly in 2016, with the election of five Razem! members.
In December 2020, under the leadership of Pawle Pyrchalayszwyly, Razem! accepted Aleksandra Wojdyla's offer to form a "united front" with the Miersan National Party and Nowoczesność against the governing Naprzód.
Ideology
Razem's platform is to promote minority rights, particularly those of the Vedmedi and Lemovician communities in West Miersa, with the party advocating for the recognition of Vedmedi and Lemovician as recognised languages, to be used under the "same conditions that the Soravian minority use their language."
Beyond the promotion of minority rights, Razem! is centrist in ideology, believing that "if minority rights are respected, the Miersan Sotirian Republic would be fine the way it is."
