Rebecca Van Gogh née Voss (21 July 2009) is a Rhodeian officer currently serving in the Rhodeian Army under Task Force 141 as a member of the LRRG.
Rebecca hails from a family of military men. Her father is a Colonel in the Rhodeian Army while her mother is an Alterian Nurse. Rebecca is known for her wit, something which she had inherited from her great-grandfather, EWII veteran Henry Voss. Rebecca is also known for her fondness of cats and someday dreams of opening a cathouse where people can adopt them. When she would enlist in the army, she would take her cat named "Whiskers" to her in the field. Her squadmates that also included her future husband, David Van Gogh grew fond of him and as a result, the group adopted Whiskers as its mascot and their squad patch having a cat as its insignia. Later, they were transferred to Task Force 141.
Although having somewhat of an aristocratic roots, she never lets herself be compared to the elite and as such, often finds herself befriending those from the middle or lower classes.
