Reiko Sugiyama (5 August 1988) is a Lucian officer currently serving in the Lucis Army as part of Task Force 141.
Reiko is known for his stoic personality. Unlike his younger brother, Tatsumi, Reiko is very dedicated to his duty. However, he loses his composure whenever his fellow Task Force members mispronounce his name, which is a running gag. His name has been frequently mispronounced as "Raker", "Rainer". "Reika", "Rookie", "Reimo" and many other names. Because of this, he often repeats saying: "That does it, I am changing my name.".
