Farokand is a federation comprising 14 federal republics (Farokandi: Rézpublikas Fedérazi). These republics serve as Farokand's first-level administrative divisions. Each federal republic possesses a significant amount of autonomy within the federation, with supreme authority over most policy areas, except for areas specifically denied for the republics by the constitution. There are 14 federal republics, which are drawn along major ethnic or historical lines. The republics are divided into provinces, Farokand's second-level administrative divisions.

Proposed republics

There are numerous federal republics that have been proposed as administrative divisions since the Federal Proclamation in 2014. All of these proposals have a few political parties representing them and proposing them to the people and government. The most popular and widely-supported proposed republics are based on ethnolinguistic borders; many other proposals are based around regions to assist in their development or for a balanced division of the country. The political party Unity Through Division supports all of the proposed federal republics in the table below. It advocates for the expansion of the administrative divisions for better representation, and has amassed a large following, especially in recent years.

It has been proposed by the minor regionalist Halkalivar Party, which seeks to develop the region and protect local businesses from what the party describes as an "ongoing economic crisis".
Isalistan	Kandi, Enerisal, Okulabad	TBA	TBA	The Isali people of south-central Ülsomm Fara have demanded a separate federal republic amid a resurgence in Isali ethnic identity. Represented by the Isali Revival Union and Unity Through Division, the movement seeks to establish the federal republic of Isalistan and facilitate the revival of the Isali identity and language.
Kaleztia	Murokar, Faroi	TBA	TBA	The Kaleztians of western Murokar and far eastern Faroi have been demanding a separate federal republic ever since the Federal Proclamation, and have been considered the leaders of the administrative reorganisation movement in Farokand past 2014. Several political parties advocate for a separate Kaleztian federal republic, including the Free Kaleztian Party, Unity Through Division, Party of Kaleztian Socialists, and the Protectors of the Serene Highlands. Most proposals only include the Kaleztian-speaking provinces of Murokar, but a few also include the historical sections of Kaleztia in Faroi, specifically Kaleztivar province.
Markovia	Faroi	TBA	TBA	The movement for Markovian autonomy has rapidly gained popularity in recent years, with the resurgence of Hokanoian identity. The Hokanoians demand that either Hokanoian be made an official language of the Republic of Faroi or a Markovian federal republic be carved out of the historical region. A Markovian federal republic has been advocated primarily by the Autonomy for Markovia and Hokanoi political party, but it is also part of the doctrine for Unity Through Division. The borders of a Markovian republic vary by proposal, but the widely-accepted provinces are those that have a significant Hokanoian population.
Muduzia	Pundann	Muduzikazis	TBA	Numerous proposals for a federal republic for the Muduzians in the Muduz Islands have been made, particularly by the Muduzikazis Party, which advocates for further recognition of the Muduzians and the Muduzian language. Other supporting parties include Unity Through Division and The Isles. If the Muduz Islands were to become a republic, they would be the smallest by area and population. Of these stats, Muduzia is the second-smallest proposed republic.
Pirvania	Faroi	TBA	TBA	Many proposals for a separate Pirvanian federal republic have been made. In terms of traction and support, it is one of the most popular proposed federal republics. It is primarily supported by ethnic Pirvanians, who demand further recognition with their own republic. Political parties supporting a Pirvanian federal republic include the United Pirvanian Party, Unity Through Division, and the Green Hills Party. Former president Argol Makszor, who was born in Melnorüm, has also expressed support for the Pirvanian autonomy movement and for the separation of Pirvania from Faroi. The proposed republic would encompass the majority Pirvanian-speaking provinces of central Faroi, mainly comprising the Pirvanian Hills.
Posavkaz	Pundann	Posavkaz	TBA	There have been recent demands for a new federal republic encompassing the territory of the island of Posavkaz. This has been mainly advocated for by ethnic Posavkians and the regionalist political party Posavkians For Posavkaz. Some proposals include a few northern districts of Artilfar which have a Posavkian-speaking minority.
Sutaroni	Cerecan, Faroi	Sutal, Mitsivia	TBA	The Sutaroni Islands, long divided between Cerecan and Faroi, are home to the Sutalans and Mitsivians, who speak the Sutaroni languages. The Sutaroni autonomy movement became widely popular in the islands in the 1980s and manifests today through the Sutaroni Future political party, which has recently begun to dominate the politics of the two provinces making up the Sutaroni Islands. If the islands were to become a federal republic, it would be the smallest by area and population; it is also the smallest and least populous proposed republic.
