The Russell administration began on December 1, 1978 when Floyd Russell took office as the twenty-seventh president of the Federation of Rizealand and ended when he left office on December 1, 1983. Russell took office as a Democrat member of the National Progress Coalition after winning the 1978 election. After he was defeated in the 1983 election, his administration was succeeded by the McNulty administration under Sean McNulty, a National Republican.
