Sharifistani Liberal Party
The Liberal Party of Sharifistan is a political party lead by Shaykhah Aisha Bint Ahmed Ali Khan (the Grand Vizier of Sharifistan) which follows Islamic liberalism, constitutional monarchy, liberal democracy, liberal feminism, Islamic feminism and Islamic liberalism and is the majority part in the Shura Al-Sharifis (the upper house of the The Majilis ash-Shura (Sharifistan).

Policies
Reserving a percentage of places at universities for women and a percentage for Romani Travellers.
Legalisation of alcohol for non-Muslim citizens over 25
Requiring all Qadis (judges), cabinet ministers, civil servants, military officers, soldiers and police personnel to swear an oath to uphold the Book of Justice
Legalisation of polyandry amongst the non-religious and of mutah marriages amongst Shia Muslims.
Legalisation and regulation of gambling.
Encouraging polygyny in order to ensure that war widows can have husbands.
The establishment of a Sharifistani Court of International Law to try heads of state suspected of war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity.
Replacing the death penalty with rehabilitation in cocaine use cases.
Replacing imprisonment with rehabilitation in drug use cases.
Legalisation of lending at interest, provided the interest is less than 50%.
Cutting the salaries of police chiefs, judges and hospital managers in order to reduce average taxes.
Provision of an interest-free student loan scheme (that still has to be paid back) to replace student grants.
The abolition of the death penalty for all crimes except: treason, murder, gang rape, child rape and the procuring of children for prostitution.
Increased funding into narcotics enforcement, making the certainty of culture an alternative deferent to execution for drug traffickers.
Raising the minimum wage by 4.5%
Maintaining the upper-house of The Majilis Ash-Shura.
Support
The Liberal Party is the most popular party amongst the nobility (and hence the political party with the most seats in the Shura Al-Sharifs, the upper house of the Majilis Ash-Shura.), most of it’s support, however comes from intellectuals, professionals, entrepreneurs and craftsmen amongst the middle-class. It lacks support amongst the police and judiciary but has significant support amongst younger Army officers.
