Lake County is a county in the state of Hamilton. As of the 2020 Ibican Census, the population was 73,770. Its county seat, and largest city, is Georgetown, the site of the headquarters of the Crumpton National Forest. Its western border lies on the border with Pherigo.

Economy

Lake County has historically been a hub of the lumber industry, with Georgetown's largests industries being sawmills and paper mills. In the 20th century, the eastern part of the county, bordering Hamilton Lake, has pivoted toward tourism. Hamilton Lake National Park has become a major destination for recreation during warmer months.
