The first records that mention Spovmanistan are of a meeting between King Thomas III of the Spovman Kingdom and Lord Thomas Spov the lord of Camvek. In this record we also learn that Spov is a close cousin to the king. The fact that a man name Spov is a close relative of the O'Neill king may indicate that the house of O'Neill may decend from a royal house of Spov, and that could be the origin of the name of the kingdom.
