Syaran intervention in the Ruvelkan Civil War consisted of a number of military operations conducted by the Republic of Syara, chiefly focused on seizing disputed territory and in an effort to prevent the spillover of fighting into Syara borders. The largest of these, Operation Thyreos, resulted in the siezure of Zemplen and the dissolution of the Zemplen People's Republic. Syara intervention was largely sidelined by the concurrent Divide War and ended in August 1918.

The Syaran Republic had originally welcomed the 1914 December Uprising due to its recent conflicts with the Ruvelkan Socialist Republic, but by 1915 the scale of the fighting and its devestation worried Zovahr. Wary of its destabilized neighbor, in May 1915 the Republic took advantage of the fighting to seize control of Zemplen, which the Ruvelkan Red Army was largely powerless to stop in the face of its war with the Imperial Separatists. Syaran planning grew more complex and ambitious as the war raged on, leading to the formation of Operation Typhon, a proposed invasion of western Ruvelka that would restore Syaran borders to the Kurilla Mountains. This plan was never put into effect due to the Divide War.

After the outbreak of the Divide War it became a significant fear among some Syaran leaders that the Cacertians would employ the Imperial Separatists as proxy forces against Syara, concern of which only rose after the sudden invasion that sparked the Desopya Campaign. Fear of a Ruvelkan invasion led the Army of the Syaran Republic to deploy over a million troops to the border under the command of Field Marshal Zhelyasko Petrov Bliznakov, where they remained until August 1918 when many divisions were re-deployed to deal with the Cacertian August Offensive.

Syaran fears proved to be unfounded, as the Imperial Separatists never entertained the notion of fighting against Syara on behalf of Cacerta, and there is no evidence the idea of using Ruvelkan as a proxy force ever saw significant traction within Cacertian leadership. Apart from the seizure of Zemplen Syaran intervention was largely limited to reinforcing of border outposts and occasional cross border raids against scattered bands of Ruvelkan forces. Following the victory of the Imperial Separatists the Syarans gradually withdrew their forces from the border, but suspicions about Cacertian-Ruvelkan ties ultimately proved to be a major cause of the Invasion of Ruvelka and the start of the Siduri War.
