Thomes Adulf Lorenssen–Eirikr (born 20 April 1976 at Ekkesburg Castle), Duke of Ekkesburg, is the eldest child and only son of Lorens Adulf Frederikssen–Eirikr, Duke of Ekkesburg. He is a member of the Emerstarian royal house, the House of Eirikr.
Early life
Thomes Adulf Lorenssen–Eirikr was born on 20 April 1976 at Ekkesburg Castle in Ekkesburg, Emerstari, and was christened on 10 July 1976 at Stenhus Cathedral. His godparents are Benedikt Johann Fjellborg, Earl of Ørnby, Ingvara Ragnvalda Ulriksson–Fjellborg, Earless of Ørnby, Carl Augustus von Scheint, Count of Scheint, and former President of Emerstari Villem Mattssen
Thomes was initially privately tutored at Ekkesburg Castle until 1990 when he began attending Gustaf Mikael Engdal Boarding School. From 1994 to 1998, he studied history and agrarian economics at the Royal Erikian University. His first language is Emerstaran, but he also speaks Rhenish, Marsei, and English
The estate of Gjekkleborg
In 1996, Thomes took over the estate of Gjekkleborg Castle in the town of Undberg, in Verni, having been granted the estate in the will of Hans Albrekt Ørndal, Count of Ørndal.
Military career
Duke Thomes entered the Royal Emerstarian Military in 1998, joining the Royal Emerstarian Air Force as a pilot officer. In 1999, he became a flying officer, and in 2002, he was promoted to a flight lieutenant. He left the service in 2007 as an air commodore but continued to work at the Henrik Johann Stolt Royal Air Force Academy until 2031.
Marriage and children
On 20 September 2000, at Stenhus Cathedral, Thomes married Annekke Helga Holde–Eirikr, Duchess of Ekkesburg, the third child of Harald Valter Johannssen–Holde, Duke of Hjennland and a marketing director. They have had four children: Inge Theodora Eirikr—Grenburg, Duchess of Sydenland (1 December 2001), Anders Theodor Thomsson–Eirikr, Earl of Grenholm (28 June 2003), Bjørn Jokim Thomsson–Eirikr, Earl of Stenbokke (16 February 2006), Heidi Karla Eirikr–Månssten, Margravess of Ibsstad (1 August 2008). His current heir is his first son Anders Theodor as the succession laws within Ekkesburg are agnatic-cognatic.
