Tropical Storm Dennis was a fast-moving and long-lived tropical cyclone that formed in the central Cantalle Ocean. Dennis formed from a vigorous tropical wave that moved off the east coast of Adula on August 10th. The wave quickly organized into a tropical depression over the central Cantalle Ocean on August 12th. Rapid intensification took place and the depression quickly became a tropical storm the next day. Just less than 15 hours later, on August 14th, Dennis strengthened into the second hurricane of the season, reaching its peak intensity on August 17th. Increasingly unfavorable conditions caused a rapid deterioration of the cyclone shortly after its peak, with Dennis falling to tropical storm status on the next day, as it began to accelerate towards the Northern Cantalle Islands. Late on August 18th, it degenerated into a tropical wave shortly before reaching the islands, where it caused substantial damage and flooding which resulted in 15 deaths in Janapa and one death in Laurichesse. The remnants of the storm also caused minor flooding in southern Zamastan, where one person died from a falling tree. Dennis subsequently dissipated on August 20th.

Many places in Dennis's track were still recovering from Hurricane Jude and Hurricane Leah, which hit the region just over a year earlier in March and May of 2022 respectively; structures were let deficient to strong winds. The storm weakened faster than expected and Dennis degenerated into a tropical wave before it reached the mainland, though effects were still felt across the Ossinia Sea region. Dennis's remnants caused flash flooding and landslides across the island of Isla Ima, and several people were trapped in their houses by floodwaters; approximately 47,000 lost power on the island.
