The Union of Spovmanistan and Rifzid is an event that took place in April of 1701 in which King Robert II married and Queen Mary of Rifzid to unite the both the crowns and the nations. The marriage was planned by Both King Robert I of Spovmanistan and King John I of Rifzid in 1682. The day they were married, the kingdom of Fichmanistan was declared, named after the house in which the monarchs of Spovmanistan descend. The Act of union passed was a law passed by both monarchs that dissolved the old kingdoms of Spovmanistan and Rifzid and announced that the people of the two nations were one in the same.
