The Versatile InDirect ARtillery system or VIDAR for short is an Erebonian self-propelled tracked howitzer based on the Joyonghean J9 Thunder SPG and was built under license by Rainford Group from 2012 to 2025, when the Allied High Council designated Erebonia as a rogue state and subsequently froze all investments and treaties with the country. The VIDAR would be continuously bult by the Rainford Group without any license, enabling them to further improve the VIDAR with a newer engine and a newer gun.
Along with the Panzerhaubitze 155, the VIDAR would be one of the recognised icons of the Heimdallr Council's engineering prowess.
