Valengny is the largest city of Alcarres, as well as a key cultural, industrial, and financial centre. It is in the southwest of the country, along the coast of the Valengny Bay and the Albarine Sea. Valengny became the capital of Alcarres in 1862 until 1947 when the capital moved to Ieraskevi and is the centre of Valengny media, culture, and art. Its architecture is a mix of historical (Neoclassical and Art Nouveau), interbellum (Valengny, and Art Deco), fascist era and modern. In recent years, the city has been experiencing an economic and cultural boom. It is one of the fastest-growing high-tech cities in Adula.
