Vandalia, officially the Electorate of Vandalia is an Electorate of Garima located in the northwest of the country. It is bordered by Polnitsa and Waadt to the east, Jura to the west, Milcenia to the north, and Mauchatel to the south. With an area of X, it is the X largest state of Garima. With over X inhabitants, it is the X most populous state in Garima. It's main cities are Wendelstadt, Augustine, and Norenburg
Vandalia was inhabited by various Germanic tribes until its subsequent conquest by Holy Audonian Emperor Robert I in the 11th century when King Herigast IV of the Vandals was killed at the Battle of Dagastos in 1135. The region subsequently converted to Fabrian Catholicism soon after. During the 16th Century, Vendalia became one of the early HAE members to embrace the protestant revolution. The Gariman Protestants supported the election of the Protestant William IV, Duke of Barrois as Emperor, and following his death, rebelled and declared independence rather than be subject to another Catholic Emperor. Conrad III, Duke of Salia led the rebellion and was crowned King Conrad I of Garima in 1601.
Today, Vandalia is a unique region of Garima with a thriving economy and has a unique cultural heritage, largely from its early adoption of Protestantism and history of ties to foreign nobility. Vandalians are proud of their cuisine, culture, and various elements of historic local culture that survived the conversion to Christianity.
