Yn Syth

Yn Syth is a narrow strait that connects the Konkurso Gulf to the Nortua Sea and separates Cadair and Birnir.

The two continents are separated by 17.9 kilometres of ocean at the strait's narrowest point. The strait's depth ranges between 300 and 900 metres (980 and 2,950 feet; 160 and 490 fathoms) Ferries, carrying tourists and cargo, cross between the two continents every day in as little as 35 minutes. Both Cadair and Birnir held interest in building a bridge across Yn Syth, but discussions spiraled downwards as neither could come to agreement on terms to end the Konkurso Conflicts.
