Yuntai (Anikatian 앉웉야) officially Yuntai Special Administrative Region (Anikatian: 앉웉야 자치구), is an autonomous region of Anikatia, with its capital at Taesun. It is the smallest administrative region as well as the only Anikatian territory in the Victorian Ocean.

History

Yuntai was one of the early settlement areas, it became a centre of Belfrasian colonial influence in the 16th through 19th centuries. The region played a key role in the Great Eastern War when the Belfrasian fleet was attacked by the Prestonian military sparking a global conflict between Prestonia and the Belfrasian Empire and the Dominion of Anikatia.

Geography

Location

Yuntai made up of a collection of islands situated along the northern coast of the Anikatian mainland. It is the easternmost island group in Anikatia, occupying most of an archipelago in the central Victoria Ocean.

Resources

The area of Yuntai is renowned for its rich tropical landscape and unique cultural mix of Belfrasian and Anikatian background. It is known primary being a hub for naval activity and has traditionally been home to Belfrasian fleets and currently the headquarters to the Anikatian Naval Forces Far East Victoria Ocean Fleet.

The main cities in the autonomous regions are Taesun (the regional capital).

Climate

The climate lies in the subtropical climate zone, in summer along with the higher temperature and there is high humidity, but in winter the weather can be very cold due to southern winds from the antarctic regions.
