Major-General Sir. Sagaru Yamada GCB, CLE, RD, COR (25 May 1921) is a retired Rubrumian senior officer and entrepreneur. During the Second Europan War, he held commands of several armoured battalions during the Teulabia Campaign and later during the Third Joyonghean-Quenminese War after Task Force Gimle merged with Rubrumian homeland units to form the Third Rubrumian Army. He is childhood friends with Murasame Susaya.

Yamada's family has a close friendship with the Susaya family, being neighbors in the street. He attended the Royal Military Academy of Calgary together with Susaya and the two found themselves serving alongside each other as Yamada took secondary roles. Yamada is also the smartest of his colleagues, often advising Susaya to take certain actions or not. His mentor, Colonel Tasaku Mitsuru believed that Yamada's calculating nature belonged in the armoured formation. As a result, throughout the war, Task Force Gimle was one of the allied formations that took the lowest number of casualties with regards to armour. He continued to serve under Susaya throughout the War of Lorican Aggression until they retired together in 1982.

After army life, he became fond of the automotive industry and found himself working at Saburo Corporation. He was given a senior position and was assigned as the country manager overseeing Saburo's operations in Rubrum. He was subsequently called to Nihhon-koku to run administrative operations and became the CEO of Saburo Corporation until he retired in 2001. He returned to Rubrum but continued to see work as a chief adviser to the Minister of Transportation. Even in his advanced age, Yamada continues to practice a healthy lifestyle which has provided him with the ability to propose and make sane advises for the Minister.
