The original position was established following the Monarch's Revolution and was planned to be chosen by the citizens of Creeperopolis in an election series every five years while the current poisiton was established following the 2020 Creeperian Coup d'État Attempt by escaped leaders exiled in Lyoa. The first and only President of the original Presidency was Liberal Orlando Moreno Hidalgo while the incumbent President is Antonio Gisbert Alcabú. Elections were planned to be held in 1732 to offset the elections for President and Parliament for the original Presidency. The original position was abolished following the Peoples' Revolution and the return of the constitutional monarchy in 1730.
