In the late 1920's, Kapuku had a median navy. The navy present during that time still acted as an auxillary fleet to the Zhenian Navy. With the outbreak of the Second World War, the Kapukan Navy was moved to be a part of the Zhenian Navy. The Kapukan fleet fought feircly in the Hanmaric, with many enemy ships being sunk by the Kapukan navy. With the start of the Hopai Uprising in 1941, parts of the Kapukan Navy went against Zhenia and defended the islands. The Hopai Uprising saw over 30 Zhenian ships sunk by the Kapukan Navy. From 1944-1946 the Kapukan Navy acted as an unorganized part of the military. In 1947 with the coup, the modern from of the Kapukan Navy was created.
