The Bashurat Cooperation Organization (Gaullican: Organisation de coopération du Bachourate), commonly known as the BCO, is a regional political, economic, and security intergovernmental organization located in western Coius. The organization has five members - the Republic of Senria, Most Serene Republic of Baekjeong, Republic of Chanda, Republic of Arthakhand, and Kingdom of Rajyaghar - as of 2021.
The BCO was formed on April 10, 1989 by the Nadipatnam Charter of Cooperation, following more than a decade of closening ties between Senria & its allies on the one hand and Rajyaghar & Arthakhand on the other as a result of Senrian support for Rajyaghar and Arthakhand against Ajahadya during the Third Satrian War... [further history]
While it is often presented as an organization aimed at opposing the Rongzhuo Strategic Protocol Organisation, and more specifically at opposing ROSPO member Ajahadya within Satria, the BCO has a relatively broad purview and engages in a variety of military, economic, cultural, and political activities. These include dispute resolution between members, trade and economic cooperation agreements, joint counterterrorism and counter-cyberwarfare exercises, and cultural exchange programs.
The BCO has close ties with the Sangang Mutual Security Organization, an anti-Xiaodongese military alliance containing most of the BCO's members.
