The 44th Federal Parliament was elected at the 2020 Thermodolian National Assembly Election. On 9 August, 2020 the President of Thermodolia Jacob Zarman appointed Derak Gœs to the position of Prime Minister. Gœs was elected as Prime Minister on 10 August, 2020.
