Joyce Hess is a Zamastanian activist and politician who serves as the Representative for Zian's 48th district, a seat which she has held since 2016. Born and raised in the coastal town of Fairfell, Zian, Hess graduated from the University of Tofino and became an activist in anti-war demonstrations and pro-immigration movements during the second Cassious Castovia administration. As a member of the Green Liberal Party in Congressional Hall, she has voted for every liberal-helmed bill since her induction. She serves on mulitple committee boards, including the Appropriations Committee and the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions. In 2019, she was a key figure in the formation of the Assault Weapons Reduction Act. She has headed PROADIM, which is a pro immigration advocacy group, since 2003.
