Marolevia, (Grubalevian: Империя всех маролевов) officially the Empire of All Marolevs, is a sovereign state in Western Euclea. Marolevia a total land area of 2,786,398 square kilometres (1,075,834 sq mi) making it the fifth largest nation in Kylaris by area and the largest nation in Euclea by area, sharing a land border with XXXX to the South, XXXX to the East, and sharing a Maritime Border with Ordennya to the North East. Marolevia has a total population of 82.9 Million citizens making it one of the largest nations in population in Euclea falling only behind Gaullica. The capital city is Vlazselo, and its largest city is Glazreki, other cities include Zheleznotkinsk, Domovir, Kryrinsk, and Voroyev.
Marolevs would emerge as a distinct group between the 2nd and 5th century. The origins of the Western Marolevs traces itself from a migratory period in the mid 5th century where there was rampant over population causing an exodus of many Marolevs East towards the Solarian Empire. The Marolevs who had left what many consider Marolevia proper who go onto become the Eastern Marolevs and the Southern Marolevs, while those who remained would become the Western Marolevs. The modern state of Marolevia traces its founding back to the founding of the Principality of Grubalevia which occurred sometime around the end of the 9th Century. It would become a regional power and its influence would continue under the Commonwealth of All Marolevs a confederation made up of various Marolevic States in order to ward of outside forces. The Commonwealth would be used by Gruablevia to unite All Marolevs under the Empire of All-Marolevs during the 17th Century. The Empire would come to dominate Western Euclea for centuries till the War of the Triple Alliance which would be the beginning of the end of the Empire.
During the December Revolution various Workers Unions seized control of the Government and a Brief but brutal civil war occurred bringing about the end of the Tsarist Regime which would flee to Asteria Inferior. This new regime would go onto form the Marolevic Syndicalist Union which would be lead by Vasiliy Vitsin throughout the first few years before his death would lead to Alexander Chemeris becoming the defacto leader of the Union and would go onto attempt to rapidly industrialize the Union, and would lead it throughout the duration of the Great War. The economy of Marolevia is one of the strongest in the world with a GDP of $2.1 Trillion, it maintains a large industrial sector along with significant contributions from its Tourism sector, also possessing a large amount of natural resources such as iron, nickel, coal, oil and gas.
Etymology
Marolevia is derived from "маролевов Земля" (marolevov zemlja) which is translated roughly to "Marolev Land" or "Land of the Marolevs." The term comes from its rampant use during the early Republican Pan-Marolevic movement who called for a 'Republic of Marolevia' and later its use to refer to state as whole by the Marolevic Syndicalist Union but has since become the normal term to refer to the area by most Eastern Eucleans and Asterians and it is used by some Marolevic Historians to differentiate it from the earlier Commonwealth.

The early Bronze Age in Marolevia begun around 2000 BC, while the Iron Age commenced in approximately 650 BC. The XXXX culture would become predominant especially in modern day Masskia. Summer and Winter are the two most prevalent periods in Western MArolevia, with Spring and Fall being two short periods in between summer and winter. In Eastern Marolevia all four seasons are present though Spring and Fall are still considerably shorter than the rest of Euclea.

Marolevia is a Federal semi-constitutional monrachy. Marolevia's current system of government was adopted in 1975 after the fall of the Marolev Syndicalist Union in 1974. The Emperor of Marolevia (император) is the who is the head of state, who currently is XXXX, which is a hereditary post subject to the Marolev Laws of Succession, and the Chief Minister (Главный министр) the head of government, who currently is XXXX and is selected by the Emperor, of the government (Правительство Маролевиа) comprised of senior ministers and junior ministers; the senior ministers comprise of the Assembly of Ministers (Ассамблея министров).
The bicameral legislature is the Federal Duma (Федеральная Дума) with the upper house being the Council of Princes and the lower house the State Assembly. The Council of Princes has 83 members whilst the State Assembly has 450 members - the State Assembly serves for four years and is elected by the D'Hondt Method, while the Princes are appointed by constitute state they come from based on their constitution. The Federal Duma is the main legislative body but is subordinate to the Emperor.
The government consists of ten ministers and an undefined amount of junior minsters, known as Deputy Ministers. The entire government is chaired by the Chief Minister. A smaller and more powerful executive body, called the Assembly of Ministers is composed only of the senior ministers, though some Secretaries of State may attend Assembly meetings, the Emperor may attend the meetings as he wishes.
The Council has extremely limited power and as such is not able to outright veto legislation with few exceptions for constitutional changes, matters of defense, and laws only affecting the constitute states, they may however delay legislation but mostly serve as an advisory body for the State Assembly as the Assembly gets the last say.
The State Assembly is the more powerful house and is elected every four years. The State Assembly officially lends support for the government, but it can only dissolve the government if it has the support of the Emperor. It has control over most areas of governance such as, finance, administration of the Federal Cities, education, health, and infrastructure between states.
In the past, Marolev politics had been dominated by two major parties, the Conservative Party, and the National Liberal Party. There has always been the presence of minor parties such as the Green Party of Marolevia, and the All-Marolev Party. With the recent Bribery Scandal, the Conservative Party has splintered into several parties while it itself remains as a minor party, the Marolev People's Party, the Marolev Christian Party, and the Conservative Union of Farmers.

Marolevia uses a civil law legal system that was originally codified and based on the 1870 Declaration of the Rights of Peasantry, and Nobility by Emperor Peter I, which laid out the rights of Peasants and Nobility as well as placing them both on equal legal levels in regards to both civil law and criminal law. It also directly placed all Peasants under the direct protection of the Emperor.
Judges are to interpret the law as they see fit, they may not create new law and one judge does not set the precedent for other judges. Juries are not typically present within Marolevia courts with the exception for capital punishment cases.
Marolevia operates under a tiered court system, with Supreme Court being the highest court in all of Marolevia who typically involve themselves in Administrative Law, as well as hear many consitutional cases but they do not typically involve themselves in criminal cases with few exceptions, the Federal Courts of Marolevia are the 18 Courts in each constitute state and federal city within Marolevia and hear appeals from the 36 Lower Courts of Marolevia. The constitute states and federal cities of Marolevia are allowed to have their own judicial system as long as it upholds the Declaration of the Rights of Peasantry, and Nobility.
Several law enforcement agencies operate within Marolevia both under the Ministry of the Interior and under the Emperor, with the Federal Police Force, the Federal Grendarmie, and formerly the Special Response Unit of the Interior under the Minister of the Interior, and the Royal Security Forces falling directly under the command of the Emperor.
Foreign Relations
The Empire of All-Marolevs is the recognized successor of the MSU through international law and as such it continues to implement the international commitments of the MSU, and has assumed the MSU's membership in other international organizations, the rights and obligations under international treaties, and property and debts. Marolevia has a multifaceted foreign policy. As of 2018, it maintains diplomatic relations with X countries and has X embassies. The foreign policy is determined by the Emperor and implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Marolevia.

Military
The principal military force of Marolevia is the Armed Forces of Marolevia which is compromised of several branches, the Marolev Ground Forces, the Marolev Navy, Marolev Strategic Missile Troops, Marolev Airborne Troops, and the Marolev Air Force. It is the Xth largest military force in Kylaris, having 1,002,300 active personnel and 2,544,210 personnel in reserve with potentially millions more being in reserve due to conscription. Conscription is still present throughout Marolevia with all males aged 18-35 being required to do 12-24 months of conscription based on a number of factors.
Marolevia possess the largest stockpile of Nuclear Weapons in Kylaris, one of the few nations to possess a strategic bomber force, one of the largest ballistic missile submarine fleets, and maintains among the largest tank force, Air Force, and Navy. it is also suspected that Marolevia has the ability to rapidly deploy various biological and chemical weapons.
The Head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is the head of the Armed Forces, normally being appointed to the post by the Emperor and is meant to attempt to coordinate the combined efforts of the armed forces. The Commander in Chief of Marolevia is the Emperor, though the Emperor has typically not directly participated in military affairs since the 19th Century, with one notable exception being the Collapse of Marolev Syndicalist Union.
The military of Marolevia has recently undergone several key reforms to move it closer to the standards of Eastern Euclea including the, development of a professional NCO corps, the creation of a Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the continued modernization of the armed forces through the computerization of many systems.
Administrative Divisions
Marolevia is divided into seventeen constitute states and three federal cities each with their own separate constitution. All states and cities under the jurisdiction of Marolevia are considered equal with each being allowed to create its own constitution as long as each state recognizes the Emperor of Marolevia to be their overlord and it does not contradict the Marolev Constitution and the Declaration of the Rights of Peasantry, and Nobility. As such, the Emperor is allowed to appoint a Prince ('князь') to represent the Monarch, in the case of the constitute states it is normally the while in the Federal Cities it is typically a lesser noble or a member of the Emperor's family.

Grubalevians is the largest ethnicity within Marolevia, compromising some 41% of the total population of Marolevia, it is followed behind by Masskians, Marosenkians, Lykhuls, and Gornkons. Despite Marolevia's population it is mostly on par with most Euclean states in regards to its population density though it falls slightly short of the average density for a Euclean State. 80% of the population is estimated to live in urban areas while 20% is estimated to live in rural areas.
Marolevia's population peaked in 1998 with 90,981,244, and has steadily declined till 2008 where it began stagnating and as been on the rise since then estimated to be hitting 82,981,244 by mid 2019.
