Above the mantle rise banners with the arms of the eight ducal houses that are directly below the Archking. They are (from dexter to sinister) de Ullerslev, de Bonde, de Karlshus, de Jarlse, de Nedran, de Løvenborg, de Søstærk and de Verlda. Inbetween the mantling and the escutheon is a collection of enemy flags.
